About Marketing Binder
Marketing Binder launched as an academic marketing website in 2008. It aimed to provide business class resources and marketing education to students of Allen Stafford, an associate teacher in ITT’s Business School.
Traffic increased on the website, prompting Allen to continue writing educational content that helped students and businesses better understand marketing principles and provide marketing tools to help companies with their marketing initiatives.
In 2014, priorities shifted, and while Allen focused on his marketing career as a director of marketing and later vice president of marketing, Marketing Binder became a side-hustle agency where Allen leveraged his marketing experience to help B2B firms in the Riverside and Inland Empire.
In late 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down businesses, Allen launch Marketing Binder into a full-time traditional and digital marketing agency and community specializing in B2B marketing services.
Allen Stafford
A short bio.
Allen is a methodical marketing professional with over 20 years of marketing experience on the agency and client-side. He has worked in strategic marketing leadership roles in the B2B market space, covering financial services, manufacturing, aviation, automotive, E.V., SaaS, and steel raw materials. After earning his B.A. in Communication from the University of Southern California, Allen worked in Radio as on-air talent for both a top 40 radio station in Orange County and an Album Oriented Rock station in Southern California’s High Desert. He also worked as a cameraman and video editor for Westinghouse Broadcasting Group.
After working in media, Allen taught English composition at the secondary level before beginning his marketing career. He also taught graphic design and business communications at the college level while working as a marketing professional. Allen earned his MBA in Digital Marketing and Business Analytics from the University of Illinois, Urbana – Champaign, and a Certificate in Marketing Analytics from Cornell University.
